Hard to believe SAW V hits theaters everywhere next Friday, but alas… the time has (yet again) come to see what traps Jigsaw (or his counterpart) have instore for us. To finally let the world know, Lionsgate released a batch of new stills for the flick today, giving us a reason to care… and the motivation to show up opening weekend.
The new pics feature just about everybody in the new flick, including the new victims, a time clock on more than one wall, Jigsaw, the replacement Jigsaw (Costas Mandylor), and just a few glimpses of traps–but of course, not a full shot of one in its entirety (which is good).
As we expected, SAW V looks like it will be delivering more of the same from the previous 4 installments of the series, which just goes to show that the old mantra of ‘if it ain’t t broke, don’t fix it’ is what keeps this franchise alive and well… for at least one more year.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I can almost guarantee SAW V is going to open the weakest of all the previous SAW films. Why? Because of the power of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3. Yes, totally different demographic… and no way in hell SAW V is gonna beat it. Let’s hope I’m proven wrong!
