DISMISSED, an upcoming thriller from screenwriter Brian McAuley (NANNY CAM) that seems poised to be an incisive commentary on the failings of the educational system, has announced a killer cast. Dylan Sprouse (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, BIG DADDY) and Kent Osborne (Adventure Time) will be joined by Randall Park (THE INTERVIEW, a million underappreciated small parts), Chris Bauer (True Blood), and Alycia Delmore (HUMPDAY).
In DISMISSED, an idealistic, straight-laced English teacher (Osborne) is drawn down a nightmarish rabbit hole by an honor roll student (Sprouse) who will stop at nothing to get an A.
Kim Jong-un and a former wholesome Disney actor freaking it up? Count me in!
DISMISSED, the feature debut of Benjamin Arfmann (SXSW short Random Stop), will shoot next month in Los Angeles.
