Schwarzenegger & Hamilton reteam in new Terminator: Dark Fate trailer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

It's hard to believe there's another Terminator movie hitting this year, but here we are, and TERMINATOR: DARK FATE will be upon us in just a few months. The buzz has been building since they first started unloading footage from the new flick, dubbed the "true" sequel to James Cameron's TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY, effectively ignoring everything that came after (and, let's be honest, with good reason). DEADPOOL director Tim Miller is on deck to bring this to life, along with Cameron serving in a writing/producing role, and reunites stars Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who first traded paint in the original 1984 THE TERMINATOR.

Joining the futuristic fray this time out is Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes and Gabriel Luna, who plays the new big bad to this relentless franchise. At this point, even if you have doubts, I just can't imagine many who grew up with this series passing on a big-screen viewing. I mean, I even went and saw GENISYS, regardless of how abysmal it looked. DARK FATE, fortunately, actually looks pretty cool and the new trailer adds a bit more incentive. Could it still go down in flames? Sure. Am I still going to watch it burn? Absolutely. Here's to hoping this lives up to the legacy!

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE is in your future on November 1, 2019.
