We Have Always Lived in the Castle Sebastian Stan

Sebastian Stan just starred in one of the biggest box office bonanzas of the year, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, so he can pretty much do whatever he wants. What he wants is pretty cool: He has just joined the cast of WE HAVE ALWAYS LIVED IN THE CASTLE, an adaptation of Shirley Jackson's 1962 short story. The film will be directed by Stacie Passon (2013’s CONCUSSION).

WE HAVE ALWAYS LIVED IN THE CASTLE centers on an isolated family, which has already lost four members to poisoning, that uses rituals and talismans to keep itself away from hostile townspeople. Into this scenario arrives a distant cousin, intent on maliciously securing the family’s fortune, and whose arrival sets in motion the uncovering of family secrets.

Michael Douglas, another Marvel alum, is producing alongside Jared Goldman, Robert Mitas, and Robert Halmi Jr.
