“Kate Beckinsale… In 3D”.

No, I’m not pointing out the obvious appeal of UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING – the new trailer is. (Yes, it actually says “Kate Beckinsale in 3D.”) The second, full-length trailer for the film is now online and awaiting your eyeballs below.

Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.

UNDERWORLD AWAKENING was directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein and stars Beckinsale, Stephen Rea, Michael Ealy, Theo James, India Eisley and Charles Dance. It opens in the U.S. on JANUARY 20, 2012. For all international release dates, click right HERE.
