Regardless of the ridiculous backlash for Kevin Smith’s RED STATE I still want to see the thing, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Seems like Smith has been battling for this one around every corner and we’re still a ways away from seeing it.
Today we’ve got a couple new RED STATE goods to scope out. Nothing spectacular but worth a look regardless. To the right you’ll find the final one-sheet for the film, which is obviously the first one-sheet with some logos and such thrown on. Red State begins by following three horny high-school boys who come across an online ad from an older woman looking for a gang bang. Boys being boys, they hit the road to satisfy their libidinal urges. But what begins as a fantasy takes a dark turn as they come face-to-face with a terrifying “holy” force with a fatal agenda.
RED STATE stars Michael Parks, John Goodman, Kevin Pollak, Kaylee DeFer (below), Melissa Leo, Stephen Root, Ralph Garman, Kerry Bishé, Michael Angarano, Kyle Gallner, Nicholas Braun, James Jean Parks and Haley Ramm . The film is kicking off it’s US Tour this month followed by a theatrical release on October 19th.
