XLrator Media will be giving the Kate Bosworth / Wes Bentley thriller AMNESIAC (which briefly flirted with the idea of changing its title to UNCONSCIOUS) a VOD and theatrical release on August 14th, and just three weeks out from its release date a trailer has been put online that you can watch below.
Directed by Bosworth's husband Michael Polish from a screenplay by Amy Kolquist and Mike Le, AMNESIAC is
the story of a man who wakes up in bed suffering from memory loss after being in an accident, only to begin to suspect that his wife may not be his real wife and that a web of lies and deceit deepen inside the house where he soon finds himself a prisoner.
The trailer doesn't exactly get me enthusiastic about the movie, but I'm interested, and it does look to have some stylish cinematography. I'm also liking Bosworth's quiet, subtle performance. It's definitely one I'll be checking out at some point.
