It’s really hard to gauge a pinpoint feeling for Matthijs van Heijningen’s THE THING. I mean at first there was a mixed bag for this little diddy, with seemingly more people against it rather than for it. But the more we see from the film it seems the more people are starting to dig it. Personally I haven’t been sold on this shite just yet and I’m sure a lot of you are right there with me.
Though after checking out the crop of new stills from this thing (pun intended) that we just scored today you might change your mind on that. It’s not a massive update or anything but a few new shots from THE THING recently hit the waves and we’ve tossed that shite up over in our Upcoming Movies section. Unfortunately there really isn’t anything mouth-watering offered here. I’d say pretty much exactly what you’d expect from a new crop of THING stills.
