Miramax has entered into a domestic distribution agreement with Echo Bridge Entertainment to distribute 251 of its titles on DVD and Blu-ray. Among the films are select titles from the HALLOWEEN, HELLRAISER and CHILDREN OF THE CORN franchises.

Echo Bridge President Michael Rosenblatt expressed excitement in adding the titles, adding that “many have tremendous star power and are cult classics.” Miramax CEO Mike Lang added that, despite being around for years, many of the films “have never been fully exploited.”

No word on which films in each series will get the high definition treatment, but it’s always good to see a genre movie get the upgrade. Which of the sequels would you like to see on Blu-ray?

HELLRAISER: HELLWORLD’s Katheryn Winnick would like nice in HD, even though the movie would still suck
