Serpent Lake poster

Back in February I showed you the first teaser (trailer and poster art) for Joel Trujillo’s low budget monster flick SERPENT LAKE. Today the OFFICIAL SITE has been updated, including the brand spankin’ new poster!

While the poster isn’t anything to bust a nut over, if it starred a bunch of big named Hollywood stars and had a bigger budget, this poster might be something pretty awesome. But as it is, it doesn’t have any of those things. Just a dream on a shoestring budget–and love for giant monster movies!

The site also has a brand new teaser trailer, and a footage from the first and second day of filming (both of which you can click HERE to check out). Nothing looks extraordinary with this flick, but the fact that it’s so low budget, and it’s about a giant monster that kills every 30 years or so in some random lake… that’s just classic storytelling, so why not give the little guy some props, right?

Stick around for more on SERPENT LAKE as we hear it!

Thanks to Avery for the heads up!

My kind of lake action…
