Seth Rogen to produce Good Boys, an R-rated comedy in the vein of Superbad

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Check your maturity at the door, folks, because Seth Rogen's Point Grey Pictures and Good Universe have announced that they'll be producing an R-rated comedy entitled GOOD BOYS. Set to make their feature directorial debut for the film are Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.

In what we know so far, the film is being likened to Rogen's other comedies, SAUSAGE PARTY and SUPERBAD. GOOD BOYS is set to feature four twelve-year-olds caught in the throes between blissful childhood ignorance and exploratory teenage debauchery. Together, the group travel from the Los Angeles suburb of Tarzana to the Sherman Oaks Galleria to replace a broken drone before their parents return home.

In addition to directing the feature, Eisenberg and Stupnitski will also pen the script.

Could you imagine if this turned out to be some bizarre amalgam of STRANGER THINGS meets THE SANDLOT? I would lose it.

You can catch Seth Rogen as Sandy Schklair in James Franco's THE DISASTER ARTIST, which is set to explore naval penetration and toss footballs on a roof beginning on December 8th
