John Fallon’s The Shelter is now available on VOD and in select theaters!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

THE SHELTER is a contained horror film written, directed, and produced by Arrow in the Head's very own John Fallon and is co-produced by JoBlo.com. Fallon's horror knowledge seems to have some in handy, as there are some nice, creepy shots in the trailer for the film and the story definitely has some potential, so I'll definitely be checking this out when it hits.

Here's the synopsis:

Vagrant Thomas Jacob (Michael Paré of "Eddie and the Cruisers" fame) finds shelter for the night when he falls upon a seemingly abandoned two-story home with its lights on and an inviting front door. Once inside, his past comes to haunt him and he soon realizes that he is not alone. There's a supernatural force on hand and it won't let him leave. Destiny has brought Thomas to this place but will he survive the ordeal?.

THE SHELTER's limited theatrical run goes from November 4th-10th 2016 at the Laemmle Fine Arts theater in Los Angeles with a Q&A with the film's star, Michael Pare and Fallon on November 5th, and will be unleashed on DVD on January 3rd, 2017, which you can PREORDER right HERE!

You can rent or buy the streaming version HERE!

From the L.A. Times review of the film:

"John Fallon’s “The Shelter” is remarkably ambitious. It’s a concise genre piece that doubles as a heavily metaphorical character sketch."

"Veteran character actor Michael Paré strikes just the right notes as a man literally haunted by his past. "
