It seems THE GRUDGE’s Takashi Shimizu isn’t done bringing us the spook just yet!

According to Bloody-Disgusting the Japanese director has just announced that he’ll be producing a feature adaptation of anime TV series PARANOIA AGENT. The series comes from Satoshi Kon and deals with a community’s fear, growing when a woman is brutally attacked, that spawns an epidemic of paranoia and gives birth to its own form of monster.

I’m definitely intrigued. I’m always up for a good mindf*ck of a movie that deals with paranoia. Unfortuantely there’s no word if Shimizu is planning on directing this one himself or even who’s in line to pen the script. We’ll be keeping an eye open for more PARANOIA AGENT news though so be sure to keep it here for updates!
