Those of you who went to the early screening of UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION probably came back with seeing something awesome. Oh yeah, and then there was the movie.
According to a reader over at Bloody-Disgusting as well as folks at Dread Central, attached to EVOLUTION are the trailers for William Bell’s killer videogame flick STAY ALIVE, and the much cooler videogame adaptation of SILENT HILL! How awesome is that? Granted, STAY ALIVE sounded kinda hokey from the start (Frankie Muniz + Disney/Buena Vista = horror?) and the preliminary art for the film didn’t help much (nor did this picture), but who knows? Maybe it’ll be entertaining. As for the SILENT HILL trailer, the reader says it’s almost exactly like the opening to the original game, complete with car crash. Sony even threw in Pyramid Head for kicks (granted, he was in the second game, but this still kicks ass)! I can’t wait.
SILENT HILL opens April 21st, while STAY ALIVE opens March 24th.
