Here’s an interesting horror/suspense love story that I just happened about called SILVER CORD. The meaning behind the flick’s title is revealed within the plot synopsis and I’ve gotta say, it’s pretty sweet. Have yourself a look (apparently, it’s based on a true story):
The film tells the story of a young man who is separated from the love of his life. To find her he has an Out of Body Experience but the silver cord that connects his soul with his body breaks and he is believed to be dead. In a desperate race against time his friends have less than 24 hours to save his soul before his body is cremated.
Not bad at all. It kind of reminds me of that Alba-starring movie AWAKE, though hopefully it won’t suck. I already know that CORD’s cast certainly doesn’t suck. Check out the ensemble: Shane West (THE LODGER), Cam Gigandet (THE UNBORN), Val Kilmer (KISS KISS, BANG BANG), Arielle Kebbel (THE UNINVITED, below) and Eric Balfour (TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE remake).
