Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will reprise Shaun of the Dead characters!

Before you get too excited by the headline, let me throw a bit of cold water in your lap: No, there will not be a SHAUN OF THE DEAD sequel. However, thanks to the magic of crazy animated TV shows, we will indeed be meeting their characters, Shaun and Ed, once again.

Turns out the dynamic duo will be appearing on the series “Phineas and Ferb” soon! The good news was delivered by Pegg himself via his Twitter page; see the exact tweet below.

No telling how long their appearance will last, nor if Ed will be in his zombified form. All I know for sure is, this is going to make a lot of people immediate “Phineas and Ferb” fans.
