SITGES 2010: Recap!

I am sure that if I go back and take a look at the last five Sitges reports that I did, they probably vomit out pretty much the same spiel as I am about to throw out right now. But hey, what can I tell ya, Sitges is that consistent!

This was my 6th year at the SITGES FILM FESTIVAL in Catalunya, Spain and once again, I had a wonderful time. The movie selection was stellar as per usual (although I had already seen lots of the films at Fantastic Fest already, I was beyond stoked to get to tap JOHN CARPENTER’S THE WARD and JAMES WAN’S INSIDIOUS), the awe inspiring setting still struck a cord with me, meeting AITH readers in person carved a smile on my face, the parties were dope and yes, once again, it was amazing to see old friends and of course to make new ones.

After 6 years of attending the Fest I consider myself to be a Sitges veteran at this point, at the same time, its rewarding for me that I am not stone cold jaded by it yet. I still appreciate the bulk of it. A big thank you to all involved with the Sitges Film Fest for being such class acts and making my stay such a memorable one once again. And without further ado; here are the Sitges Film that I covered this year. You can also click HERE to see the SITGES AWARD WINNERS and scroll all the way down to gawk at a couple of pictures from my trip if ya gave an ounce of a sprinkle of a shit about that stuff.
