With TERMINATOR SALVATION coming closer than you’d think (just under 3 months to go!), the marketing machine is slowly starting to make an impact, digging its claws deep into your psyche more than you could possibly know. They’re also busting out some “legit” looking websites to pimp out the war against the machines.

As is the case with SKYNET RESEARCH, a seemingly legit website dedicated to Skynet Research, Inc., a company on the leading edge of robotics creativity. Right now they’re developing the soft and cuddly robots that do fun things for you, like build buildings and provide transportation. One small step for robots, but one giant step for robot-kind.

The site is pretty cool and looks like the real deal, offering an ‘About Us,’ ‘Products,’ Outreach,” “Communications,” and even a “Testimonials” page. But we know better. We know that Skynet is the reason why John Connor and his troops are at war, why half the planet was blown to smithereens, and why time travel is so important to the continuation of mankind.

I’ll put aside my timeline for a moment, as we all know that the nuclear explosion happened on August 29th, 1997, which was going on 12 years ago. It’s a pretty cool site, and hey–what a way to promote TERMINATOR SALVATION, eh?

If you’re looking for an robot investment, be sure to check out SKYNET RESEARCH, and get ready for TERMINATOR SALVATION on May 21, 2009.
