Slightly altered international trailer for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus is a sight to behold!

Six weeks into 2012 I still can’t think of a more personally anticipated film this year than Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS. Hell, I’d watch that cast alone sit around and play cards…never-mind starring in an off-shoot of ALIEN, only one of the greatest films – in and out of genre – ever assembled. Considering this, I’m pumped to relay an international teaser trailer for the film, which is slightly altered from the one we saw at the end of December. Come on now, even if it was only different in resolution, you’d still want to cop a peek. Do so below!

A few subtle differences can be found in the new look. For one, it’s resolution seems much higher. Also, the slowly superimposed title card in the first teaser has been stricken here, as is the tagline “They went looking for our beginning…what they found could be our end.” Aside from those changes, the footage is sequenced identically.

Starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Charlize Theron (below):

Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

PROMETHEUS crashes down June 8th.
