Actor, writer, and true bad-ass, Paul Sloan (right) let us in on a brand new horror project that will soon be making its way into production. The flick is titled KING OF VAMPIRES and Mr. Sloan is the one who penned the script. The thing has just been optioned by director, Nick Vallelonga, and his own production company. Take a gander at the basic premise:
The story is “Heart Of Darkness”- style tale involving a band of mercenaries searching the jungles of Cambodia for a mysterious warlord rumored to be The Last King Of The Undead.
That actually sounds pretty damn interesting. Seems kind of like a horror/adventure picture. Does it sound too old if I use the word “picture” for describing a movie? Ah, who cares. Anyways, Sloan is set to star in the flick as a mercenary captain. The FX are going to be handled by award-winning Todd Masters, who does great work on HBO’s TRUE BLOOD. I’ll fill you in on more of this KING as we hear it.
