Smiley Face Killers: Exclusive clip from Tim Hunter/Crispin Glover thriller

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The upcoming thriller Smiley Face Killers is a must-see for me, as it's coming to us from the creative team of American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis and River's Edge director Tim Hunter, plus it has Crispin Glover in the role of a hideous murderer! Smiley Face Killers is slashing its way onto Digital and On Demand this Friday, December 4th, with a Blu-ray and DVD release to follow on December 8th (pre-order a copy HERE), and ahead of the release we've gotten our hands on an EXCLUSIVE clip. Check it out in the embed above!

Glover isn't in this clip, but it does offer a preview of an intense confrontation two characters have over threatening text messages.

Directed by Hunter from a screenplay by Ellis, Smiley Face Killers has the following synopsis:

As a strange wave of mysterious drownings of male college students plagues the California coast, Jake Graham struggles to keep his life together at school. Finding himself stalked by a hooded figure driving an unmarked van, Jake fears he may become the next victim in the killers’ horrific spree.

Glover's co-stars include Ronen Rubinstein and Mia Serafino.
