Ok, so you already know about SNAKES ON A PLANE. You know it stars Samuel L. Jackson on a plane with snakes. But do you know the theme song to the film?
“Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)”, one of the many songs on the recently announced soundtrack to the film, is now available in video form over at YouTube right here. Performed by Cobra Starship (and no, it’s no relation to Jefferson Starship, since I doubt they could resurrect Grace Slick for another go-round), this one-off group consists of Midtown lead Gabe Saporta, Maja Ivarssen from The Sounds, William Beckett from The Academy Is… and Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. As well, the album (set to slither onto store shelves August 15th) will feature remixes of tracks by Panic! at the Disco, The Academy Is…, The Bronx and more.
Hopefully that kickass tune from the official site makes it’s way onto the disc, since the tracklist hasn’t been announced as of yet, but we do get the arwork for the album, which smartly displays those same snakes on a plane in front of a snakeskin background.
