A couple of weeks ago we hit you with a creepy ass clip from director John Pogue's THE QUIET ONES, which is set to open in theaters on April 25, and today we have another clip from the Olivia Cooke-starring supernatural shocker featuring an experimental seance sequence. I've been digging everything we've seen from THE QUIET ONES so far so I have high hopes that this latest Hammer film can deliver the scares.
A university student (Sam Claflin) and some classmates are recruited to carry out a private experiment — to create a poltergeist. Their subject: an alluring, but dangerously disturbed young woman (Olivia Cooke). Their quest: to explore the dark energy that her damaged psyche might manifest. As the experiment unravels along with their sanity, the rogue PHD students are soon confronted with a terrifying reality: they have triggered an unspeakable force with a power beyond all explanation.
