As if we haven’t had enough news the past few weeks on HOSTEL, here’s one more piece.
With every good horror film, you have to have the right music to kick everything into high gear. Classic scores for films like HALLOWEEN, FRIDAY THE 13TH, THE THING and countless others are remembered and revered just as much as the films themselves. Dread Central reports that the score for Eli Roth’s HOSTEL will be released January 24th, a couple weeks after the movie hits theatres (January 6th). Roth enlisted Nathan Barr to score the film, who he also nabbed for the score to Roth’s debut feature, CABIN FEVER. Barr’s other work includes scores for OPEN WATER, CLUB DREAD and the upcoming 2001 MANIACS.
The score itself will be carried by Varese Sarabande, the company behind seemingly every good horror score being released. Click here to pre-order it from Sarabande’s official site.
