It appears as though Gwyneth Paltrow is putting her film career on hold to become a…blogger!?! Much has been made about the Oscar winner’s website/newsletter GOOP, where she tries to improve our pathetic lives by making us more like her through suggestions and recommendations. And when it’s not Gwyneth telling us to go eat at Mario Batali’s restaurant in New York, it’s her famous friends, who she often enlists to share with us their many favorite things.

Lucky for us, Gwyneth is friends with a lot of great directors, and she asked a few of them to share with us 5 films that we should go out and see. Steven Spielberg likes something called THE GODFATHER and Wes Anderson likes Costa-Gavras’ MISSING. Jon Favreau’s a fan of Kurosawa’s SEVEN SAMURAI and Sofia Coppola digs LET THE RIGHT ONE IN. Click here for the rest of their choices.
