Spike’s The Mist series hits Netflix later this month

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

One of the TV series I was looking forward to checking out the most this year was the Spike TV version of Stephen King's THE MIST. I watched the first episode and all I could think was "life's too short for this." Meaning I decided quickly that I would just wait for the time when I could binge the series in one swoop.

Well, that day is almost upon us as today we learned that all 10-episodes of the re-imagining of King's novella THE MIST will be hitting Netflix on August 25th.

Have you been watching Spike's THE MIST or have you been waiting for Netflix as well? Let us know either way by hitting us up in the new comments system below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

Spike's THE MIST synopsis:

Based on a story by Stephen King, Spike’s THE MIST centers around a small town family that is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world and, in some cases, each other. Family, friends and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.

Spike's THE MIST comes to us from showrunner Christian Torpe and stars Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Luke Cosgrove, Darren Pettie, Russell Posner, Dan Butler, Isiah Washington, Jr. and Frances Conroy.

THE MIST hits Netflix August 25th.
