Despite having some British humor that I didn’t quite get, I found SHAUN OF THE DEAD to be an absolute blast. Now, director Simon Cathcart is set on making what seems to be the next cult hit British comedy/horror film, STAGKNIGHT.
Currently in post-production, the indie film will be released later in the year, and follows in the footsteps of SHAUN, boasting better kills, hotter babes, more laugh and one of the more original horror villains seen in a while. The film stars Sandra Dickenson (HITCHHIKER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY) and Jocelyn Osario, and is being produced by Rob Mercer (the same dude who brought us RAZOR BLADE SMILE).
Right now, the official site consists of a teaser poster of sorts, but the good folks who sent us the news also sent along some pics for your amusement. Looks to be a fun time had by all (save for the guy who failed sword-swallowing class).
