Star Trek: Discovery reveals Chapter 2 premiere date!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY has been given mixed responses among fans (though to be fair, closer to positive-than-negative). The main grievances among a certain subset of fans are the darker tone, the conflict-ridden bridge, and the morally dubious main characters, while conversely those are the main qualities that the other fans of the show enjoy. At the very least, it's definitely a new way to look at STAR TREK, and I at least respect the audacity to try something different. Including being serialized.

Now, we've known for a while now that there was going to be a second season, though we've discovered it will begin with Episode 10, “Despite Yourself.” Here's the official synopsis:

While in unfamiliar territory, the U.S.S. Discovery crew is forced to get creative in their next efforts to survive opposing and unprecedented forces and return home.

The episode will be premiering on CBS All Access Sunday, January 7, 2018, after 8:30 PM ET. So, mark your calendars! I mean, if you're watching and decided to fork over money for a paid CBS service, of course!

Anyway, so what do you Schmoes think about STAR TREK: DISCOVERY? Either way, sound off below!
