Steamy poster & pics

Here’s some cool shite coming from a flick I haven’t heard of before, but as it features a gang of chicks in a steam room, I’m thinking it’s something I should definitely check out. It’s called THE STEAM EXPERIMENT, and it just got picked up for distribution by Genius Products. So what the heck is THE STEAM EXPERIMENT? Let’s dive in and have a look, shall we?

Starring Val Kilmer, Eve Mauro, Armand Assante, Eric Roberts, Megan Brown, Quinn Duffy, Cordelia Reynolds, and Patrick Muldoon, STEAM goes a little something like this:
A former university professor overheats his hostages to prove that humans will devolve into chaos under the pressures of global warming by 2012. He tells a detective that their location will be revealed if his hypothesis is printed as the local paper’s front-page headline.
The six potential victims are a former pro football player, a former actress, a nurse, a waitress, a restaurateur, and a writer. As temperatures rise, the desperate detainees fight for survival.

In a way, it’s like SAW II, except it’s not a house but a steam room, and it’s not Jigsaw but Val Kilmer, who is considerably scarier than Jigsaw is, coincidentally enough. It also smells like straight to DVD entertainment, though no official word as to it’s release date has been made yet.

Right here we have the first promo-poster art, and a bunch of new stills featuring… chicks in a steam room. See, I knew there was a reason to check this puppy out! The poster is kind of lame (why is Kilmer praying?), but since it’s not an ‘official’ poster, I’ll cut it some slack. Scroll below to check out the new pics, and head THIS WAY for even more!
