Some good news has come our way regarding Steven Schneider’s isolation horror flick THE TANK as Glacier Films will see it get a theatrical release through Open Road. You may not recognize Schneider’s name right away but you’ve certainly seen some of the movies he has produced over the years—PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, the INSIDIOUS (pictured above) films and the upcoming horror flicks WER and SX_TAPE all have his named attached to them.

What we know about the flick is that it is about six test subjects placed in an isolation chamber to simulate an extended space mission to Mars. Kellie Madison will make her feature film debut with THE TANK that she also wrote. The Exchange will begin selling the picture at the Cannes Marche du Film in May. Open Road has already acquired distribution rights here in the States so we’ll hit you guys with the release date once we get it.

Jack Coleman, Erik King, Brad William Henke and Anna Lise Phillips star.

Rose Byrne starred in INSIDIOUS
