Steven Spielberg’s alien invasion TV show Falling Skies gets a new trailer

JoBloJoBlo

The Steven Spielberg produced alien invasion series “Falling Skies” doesn’t premiere until June but TNT is already getting a jump on the advertising with a brand new trailer for the series. Noah Wyle and Moon Bloodgood star in the series that takes place in the six months after an alien invasion.

The trailer uses the oft-creepy imagery of children’s crayon drawings before showing us some footage of aliens invading. It’s a mixed bag as far as the FX go with some shots looking impressive while others leaving a lot to be desired. I’m not sure what to think of this yet. I like the ambition but, like “The Walking Dead,” just because I like the concept and appreciate the effort, it doesn’t always mean I’ll love the product. But hey, it’s got to be better than SKYLINE, right? Take a look at the trailer below and see for yourself.
