Just yesterday we had one ZOMBIELAND update, and today we have another! This one is of the casting variety, and pretty damn good casting at that! Variety passed along word today that SUPERBAD hottie Emma Stone has just joined the project!
Stone (pictured) joins Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson in ZOMBIELAND, which follows “the most frightened person on Earth” as he and a partner deal with a world attacked by the Undead. The two have no choice but to lead a group of survivors to potential safety. I was completely sold at the fact that Woody Harrelson would be starring in a horror comedy about zombies… now they’ve added the gorgeous Emma Stone! Awesome!
ZOMBIELAND starts shooting next month in Atlanta and already has a release date lined up in the form of October 9th. It comes from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick with Ruben Fleischer directing.
