Storm keeps watch over Cairo in new photo from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse

Our latest X-Men adventure, X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, still has three more weeks of shooting to get through but director Bryan Singer is making sure to keep dropping behind-the-scenes photos on us fairly regularly. Singer's latest sneak peek from the set of X-MEN: APOCALYPSE features Alexandra Shipp as Storm as well as a very cool piece of film technology known as the Simulcam.

Invented for James Cameron for use on AVATAR, the Simulcam enables the crew to view CG backgrounds in real-time during scenes which feature performers acting against a green-screen, something very handy for big features such as this. I'm sure we'll be seeing this technology being used by more and more films in future.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE opens on May 27, 2016.
