Stranger Things season 4 teaser trailer takes us into the Rainbow Room

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Previous seasons of the Netflix series Stranger Things have taught us that there was a place called the Rainbow Room in the Hawkins National Laboratory, and it served as the playroom for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the other test subjects being raised and studied by Dr. Martin Brenner, a.k.a. Papa (Matthew Modine). You might think the Rainbow Room is far behind Eleven now, but that's not the case – a teaser trailer for Stranger Things season 4 has arrived online, and it's all about Brenner and the Rainbow Room. This teaser is embedded above.

We don't know when Stranger Things season 4 will be reaching the Netflix streaming service, but we do know the season will find that David Harbour's character Hopper is

imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human… and other.

Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything.

Millie Bobby Brown, Joe Keery, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Winona Ryder, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, and Brett Gelman also return from previous seasons. Judging by the new teaser, it appears that Matthew Modine may be back as well.

New additions to the cast include Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn, Tom Wlaschiha, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Nikola Djuricko, Levon Hawke, and genre legend Robert Englund.
