Stretch Armstrong?

JoBloJoBlo

When you hear about more jobs slashed daily as the global economy swirls the bowl, you can take comfort in knowing that millions of dollars will be dedicated to bringing goop-filled 70s toy STRETCH ARMSTRONG to life.

Universal is planning a big-budget live-action movie based on the nearly forgotten Hasbro/Kenner character (and his green nemesis, Stretch Monster), with writer Steve Oedekerk (BRUCE ALMIGHTY) now coming up with new and interesting ways for a curiously rubbery person to extend their limbs.

Not much else is known about the project except that it will aim for nostalgia and involve the extreme extension of body parts. A STRETCH feature has been in the works for over a decade, with Danny Devito, Tim Allen and Jackie Chan all once rumored to deform to great lengths.
