Sucker Punch girls

JoBloJoBlo

As his WATCHMEN is about to be thrust before audiences for ultimate judgment, filmmaker Zack Snyder is diligently putting together his next ambitious project SUCKER PUNCH.

As rumored just the other day, MAMMA MIA’s expressive beauty Amanda Seyfried is in talks to headline the ALICE IN WONDERLAND-flavored flick, an original “action-fantasy” flick from Snyder. And she’ll have some lovely company — also joining the project are HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL student Vanessa Hudgens, Aussie cutie Abbie Cornish (A GOOD YEAR, STOP-LOSS) and seemingly omnipresent Evan Rachel Wood (THE WRESTLER).

UPDATE – EW.com adds that Emma Stone has also signed on to star in the film…

The girls would be known (respectively) as Babydoll, Blondie, Sweet Pea and Rocket, all insitutionalized patients who mentally escape together into an alternate reality where they steal mystical objects and kick wild amounts of ass. Or something. Whatever the case, it should look pretty slick with Snyder at the camera.

Seyfried will soon be seen with fellow busy hottie Megan Fox in JENNIFER’S BODY.
