28 DAYS LATER director Danny Boyle’s nifty-sounding deep space flick SUNSHINE is looming ever closer, but unfortunately this new poster is giving me a bad sensation of SUPERNOVA or SOLARBABIES. It also looks like it was hastily assembled with ColorForms instead of Photoshop… but then again, lately it seems to me that a lot of studio marketing departments are recruiting people right out of community college digital art classes. Let’s pray the film itself is far greater.
The movie charts the journey of an attractive multi-ethnic crew tasked with kickstarting the sun, which (as we learned from THE CORE) involves lots of explosives.
