It has been a little while since we’ve seen anything from Todd Levin’s STATIC; in fact, the last thing we saw from it was the trailer, which we shared back in May of last year. But just because it has been out of sight, doesn’t mean it has been out of mind. In fact, a press release has just informed us that New Artists Alliance, which just sold SXSW hits MILO and CHEAP THRILLS, has finalized a deal with Cinedigm for the North American distribution rights to the 3D thriller.
Starring Milo Ventimiglia, Sara Paxton and Sarha Shahi, STATIC 3D concerns…
a young couple, played by Ventimiglia and Shahi, on the verge of divorce after losing their child. Their world changes when a young visitor arrives, bringing supernatural implications to the household.
Gabriel Cowan and John Suits of NAA produced, along with Dallas Sonnier and Jack Heller of Caliber Media.
No word just yet when STATIC 3D will be released, but of course we’ll keep you tuned in. For now, take another look at the trailer (and Ms. Shahi).
