Suvari, Carrere return

I have always been a fan of quirky ensemble casts–remember SOUTHLAND TALES anyone? They don’t necessarily always work, but it definitely can be fun to watch them try. But more often than not, it’s squirm-inducing. Something tells me that the cast assembled for the Rob Hedden-directed romantic comedy YOU MAY NOT KISS THE BRIDE will most likely be squirm-inducing.

Fellow Hollywood relics Mena Suvari and Tia Carrere will join Borat’s fat boyfriend Ken Davitian, Vinnie Jones, Katherine McPhee and Dave Annable in the tale about an American pet photographer who gets mixed up with Croatian mobsters while on a honeymoon with one gangster’s daughter. This doesn’t sound like your typical romcom, and if it manages to strike the right balance between, romance, action and absurdity, it might end up being an interesting piece. To be honest though, the main reason I wrote this article is to show guys Mena Suvari’s ass. If you haven’t yet seen it, you’re welcome.
