That’s right folks. Seen above is the first art
ad for Tim Burton’s soon to be mega hit SWEENEY TODD, and not only that,
but an additional cast member announced as well!

The guys over at Fangoria scored this pic (seen
above) today from one of the Hollywood trade papers, and in addition to looking
petty cool it also contains a new cast member to top off the already swelling
talent pool that Burton has managed to put together.

So far the cast featured
Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Sasha
Baron Cohen, Anthony Stewart Head, Timothy Spall and starring the one and only
Johnny Depp. But now according to this trade that Fangoria landed, a MR.
CHRISTOPHER LEE
has joined the cast as well! This flick is really is
starting to shape up and looking like it might just become a phenomenal movie.

For those of you who don’t know, SWEENEY TODD is
based on a musical by
Steven
Sondheim, and follows Depp as a man thrown unjustly into jail, only to return as
a barber with a voracious appetite for murder and cannibalism. So it’s fun the
whole family can enjoy!

Apparently principal photography for the film was
supposed to start February 5th, so keep your eyes peeled sometime in the near
future for the first stills from Tim Burton’s SWEENEY TODD.
