We’ve been hearing a lot about E.L. Katz’s directorial debut CHEAP THRILLS over the past few weeks, leading up to its very successful premiere at SXSW this past weekend and today we have word that the film has scored distribution in the first deal of SXSW 2013, with Drafthouse Films and Snoot Entertainment grabbing theatrical, VOD and home video rights to the dark thriller.

CHEAP THRILLS stars David Koechner, Ethan Embry, Amanda Fuller, and THE INNKEEPERS costars Pat Healy and Sara Paxton. The script by Trent Haaga (DEADGIRL) and David Chirchirillo tells the story of

a new father facing eviction whose life is turned upside down when he meets a wealthy couple who offer him a path to a better life… but at a price.

Hopefully we’ll hear news on when you will be able to see CHEAP THRILLS in your neck of the woods. We’ll keep you updated on the film as we hear it!
