Before SNAKES ON A PLANE even thought about putting snakes on a muthaf*ckin’ plane, there was TAIL STING. What’s that you ask? Just a seriously fun creature feature that was all about giant mutated killer scorpions on a plane. Good times! Check out the trailer for proof (semi-NSFW).
Then today I made the exciting discovery that a sequel is currently in post-production. Outside of the poster for STINGER (TAIL STING II), which is easily one of the best B-movie one sheets ever, the damn thing takes the genius of the first flick and puts it all under water. Scorpions on a submarine! Needless to say I consider it a must watch. That trailer is available right here (arguably NSFW).
Gotta love any movie where a women getting stung in a submarine from behind by a giant scorpian tail causes her shirt to pop open. That’s just genius.
