Take a look at badass Mad Max Fury Road vehicles on the way to Africa

JoBloJoBlo

Man oh man- is anyone else as excited about this film as me? Just look at those cars!

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is still in the works despite multiple delays, and The Age has some new pictures of vehicles.

The paper points out that there are several versions of Mad Max’s Interceptor vehicles on board- the Ford XB GT Falcon that he made famous. The fact that there are many of them suggest that it’s going to explode at some point. Yay!

The Age also points out that these vehicles are on their way to South Africa, since director George Miller’s plans of shooting the film in Australia last year were ruined when the desert they planned to shoot it in got a rain storm that turned it into a beautiful, flowery oasis- hardly the ideal setting for the gritty, post-apocalyptic films that made both Miller and Mel Gibson famous.

Charlize Theron is still attached to the film, and recently told people that the film is not a prequel or a sequel, more of a re=imagination that will star Tom Hardy. Not sure if he’s still attached to the film but it would be great casting.

More as we hear it.
