Prepare your pedal-to-the-metal asses for another road-trip from hell in the brutal form of DEVIL’S FORK. You’ve got your average, happy motorist couple, your dead sexy hitchhiker, and her psychotic companion. Then all kinds of horrific, sometimes-scantily-clad mayhem ensues. That’s my quick sum up, however I’m sure you’d benefit from the official synopsis which goes like this:
A married couple picks up a pair of sadistic drifters who proceed to test them in an attempt to find out if they are truly “survivors” or not. The four leave a trail of bloodshed throughout the countryside as their journey nears a violent conclusion.
Not bad. Maybe a little vague. HOWEVER, writer/director Jeff Chitty made a freakin’ smart move by shooting an almost 3-minute promo trailer for the flick to help raise finances for it. And I’ll tell ya, the trailer ain’t bad! Just click here to have a look for yourselves. You’ll see some intense actions as well as hottie Tina Krause (BAD BIOLOGY, below) pouring bottled water on herself. As an added bonus, scream queen, Debbie Rochon, stars as well!
In addition to Chitty, FORK was co-scripted by Toby Talbert and Timothy Harvey. It also stars Allen Lowman and Jared Cyr with Tristan Risk, Brenna Lee Roth, and “Mr. Troma” Lloyd Kaufman all in smaller roles. For more info, you can check out the official MySpace page here.
