HERE. I personally think that writer/director
Jason Cuadrado’s approach is quite
novel.
Where the norm usually states that US filmmakers will McDonaldlize
an Asian flick to cater to US sensibilities. Here
Cuadrado tries something new, he’s a
US filmmaker attempting to capture the Asian fear magic by giving his
storyline a Japanese vibe while showcasing an all Japanese cast (the
flick will be subtitled). I’m interested to see how that nifty spin turns
out!
TALES FROM THE DEAD is a horror anthology (4 stories) and you’ll get
more news on it when it hits us over the head with a shovel.
