Got some news for ya on the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE remake prequel (wrap your head around that pardner). The good folks over at Bloody-Disgusting.com scored an interview with producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. Lots ‘o good stuff in there, the most interesting being:
What can you tell us about the prequel?
Brad: The prequel is 3 years before Jessica Biel’s movie. It is an origin movie, and we are going to tell the story on why he became Leatherface.
Andrew Bryniarski?
Brad: We have not made any decisions yet. R. Lee Ermey is in it a lot. He has some really fun stuff in this movie.
Any good Eye Candy?
Andrew: Oh yeah. The first fifteen pages are about Leatherface and then we’ve got some kids who come in…
Kosar is not writing it?
Brad: No. David Schow, who wrote The Crow is.
Now on the not so good front they discuss THE HITCHER remake that they want to do. Brrrr. Bad idea in my opinion. Even with Jessica Biel as a possibility in the cast I can’t get behind that one.
