This is the first I’m hearing of “Between”, Netflix’s new series about a town under quarantine after a mysterious plague wipes out most of its residents. The Canadian production stars Jennette McCurdy, Jesse Carere, Jack Murray, Justin Kelly, Jim Watson, Wesley Morgan, Michael Reventar, Kyle Mac, Ryan Allen and Michael Boisvert. Former child star McCurdy herself released the first teaser for the show on her Twitter page, and you can check it out below.
Between is the story of a town under siege from a mysterious disease that has wiped out everybody except those 21 years old and under. The series explores the power vacuum that results when a government has quarantined a 10-mile diameter area and left the inhabitants to fend for themselves.

Netflix will begin airing the series starting May 21st (it will also air on Canada’s TV network City at the same time). The first season consists of six, one-hour episodes.
