Teaser poster for 007’s Skyfall is revealed!

JoBloJoBlo

The first teaser poster for James Bond’s 23rd venture to the bigscreen in SKYFALL has been revealed today.  Harsh black and white, traditional gun barrel background, and Daniel Craig as the famed agent 007 walking toward you with a pistol.  It’s all things Bond, for sure.

Check it out:

Pretty nice, but I dare say that it isn’t anything really new or spectacular other than the fact that it IS James Bond, which I suppose is enough to get excited about.  The marketing for these films always seem to fall in a niche, which I guess you could see as either a good or bad thing.  Personally, I’d like to see a little more ingenuity, rather than something as “safe” as this.  It all seems a little interchangeable.

Still, it’s motherf*ckin’ Bond and that much is bad ass.

Here’s the synopsis again, to remind you of what’s in store:

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

SKYFALL opens on November 9, 2012.
