Teaser poster for Brad Pitt’s World War Z is revealed!

JoBloJoBlo

Earlier today we got a sneak peek at some footage from the upcoming trailer for Brad Pitt’s WORLD WAR Z and now Paramount has released the first teaser poster for the film.  It’s not going to give you a spiritual awakening or anything, but it’s decent enough to do it’s job and finally generate some hype for the long-delayed film.  Directed Marc Forster, the film is based on the intricately woven novel by Max Brooks, which chronicles a zombie outbreak across the globe and details the many stories of survival that take place during it.

The movie seems to have turned Pitt’s character into more of a heroic type, rather than a journalist, and has seemingly narrowed the focus down to a few key players, rather than a series of vignettes that the book so masterfully did.  Regardless, the footage looks solid and we’ll have much more to go off of once the trailer hits this Thursday (we’ll have our link up as soon as humanly possible, so worry not).

In the meantime, here’s the poster:

WORLD WAR Z, starring Brad Pitt, Matthew Fox, David Morse, Eric West, Mireille Enos, and James Badge Dale is set to bring the apocolypse on June 21, 2013.
