Teaser trailer previews Facebook Watch series The Birch

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

A few years ago, Crypt TV released a short called The Birch, which introduced a woods-dwelling creature that immediately became very popular with viewers. So popular that the creature is now at the center of its own 15 episode series that Crypt TV has produced for the Facebook Watch streaming service.

The first short was about

the dark relationship between a synonymous monster protector in the woods and a pure-hearted teenager who summons her in a time of crisis.

The 15 episodes of the series will be told from multiple character perspectives, as we'll get to see the stories of different people who summon the monster for different reasons. The cast of the series includes Midori Francis, Xaria Dotson, and Dempsey Bryk.

Episodes of The Birch will begin arriving on Facebook on a weekly basis beginning on October 11th.

A teaser trailer for the series can be seen below, along with the original short film.
